How much have you taken off????and how long did it take honestly...I'm down to 189 today and I had the band 3/18/2010 I started at 261

I had a reduction 5 years ago and with the weight I gained throughout that time I was a 44dd and I lost 80lbs since march 18 being banded and my breads are currently 38 c and I'm finally for the first time in 20 years very happy with the size they will go down give it some time...

I have been losing steady..I had the band march 18 2011 and I dropped from 261 I'm a female 38 years old 5"7 and in 6months I went to 190 not upsetting at all seeing how my first goal with my doctor is 180 so I've been exercising about 5days aweek eating close to what I'm suppose to and I hear about the pouch test I tried it this week m-f and bam on sat down to 184....pouch test every few weeks is my new friend I've never been 110 my whole life the way I'm going 160 is just around the corner....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Why don't you start out by doing the pouch test and bring everything inside back to the beginning again and see how that goes....

When I swallow I have a huge burn in my throat not my chest where reflux would be and no acid mess touch it cause it's in my throat...I've had the band 5 months and have lost 70lbs so I don't know what's up with this burning

U think it's too much fill I do have about 6cc in 9 band do you think an unfill will help???Is it because the band is too tight I've Also been using everything under the sun for heartburn nothing will touch it.,,,

I've lost 70 lbs since march 18 2011 and I'm such a happy camper..30 more to go

I had the band put in on mar 18 11 and I've lost 65 lbs so far but let me tell you my history I'm 5 7 female and weighted 261 so Iam very happy and yes I'd do it again I actually am afraid to ever be without the band over weight since 1995 and I exercise every single day watch what I eat etc...sometimes I look in the mirror and I can't believe what I've achieved...happier than I've ever been My hubby and I are going for our seminar tomorrow night at Ellis Hospital and I was wondering if anyone had the choice would you get the Lap Band done again? Looking for the pros and cons. Thanks!

I also told very few my spouse and my mother in law and my children know and thats too much sometimes its not that im not happy and proud of the change i know some people look at it as an easy way out I had surgery mar 18 2011 and iam down 48lb a true success story and i dont need or want anyones negative comments Ive worked my ass off 45 mins a day everyday eating next to nothing and Iam determined to make this band work for me ood luck and remmeber if you tell people you cant take it back ,....

Wow I didnt realize how hungry Id be ...I feel like Iam sitting comimg down off of an addiction? When in fact Iam a food addiction..Had some surgery day issues and the doctor forgot to fill a quanity for my script so that was a nightmare also had alot of pain in my shoulders still do ....But all in all I can say since jan 31 Im down 29lbs wow I m so proud of myself...I got on the scale friday march 18 and was 243 today I hopped on 233 down 10lbs from surgery

good for you nicole on losing so much weight...I was just banded on march 18 and I couldnt and didnt tell everyone i was doing this for a kidney problem I have had for yars now and if I had everyone in my buisness about weight loss Id want to kill myself..so very few close family members know and I think Im ok with that..see I had a large hernia too so I played that was the operation I was having and I ve bbeen on a diet for 2 months so noone asks questions..good luck and conyinue your weight loss journey
