  1. Hi all, First time post. I've already asked this with my doctors and they say it is normal but thought I'd ask it here... I had surgery in November 2010. I've since been filled twice, 3cm the first fill and 1.5 cm the second fill. I do not feel very restricted at all, breads bother me the most...., but I'm still trying to eat properly and I'm loosing a little. I've only thrown up 3 times and each time was in a social situation where I wasn't paying attention to how well I was chewing and probably swallowed to quickly, etc... The surgery if anything has caused me to slow down and chew my food better... My thing is that I really don't feel like I have a "pouch". As long as I chew, I can eat as much as I want. I feel like the band actually created an artificial Schatzki's ring (I've never had one but would imagine it would feel like the sensation I am feeling). I feel like the location of the band is right at the top of my stomach, into my esophagus. I also thought this was the case when they took the Xray after the surgery for the barium test (maybe that image is just stuck in my head and I'm fixated on it). What is the best way to confirm my bands "location". Do I ask the surgeon to view the Xray with me? Do I ask him for another barium test? Do I take my concerns to another doctor? Or is this a normal feeling that others have (although I did a search on Schotzki's ring and didn't see anyone describe it as such)? When I think of slippage, I think of the band sliding further down the stomach, not up to the esophogus... If I am banded near the esophogus, what would be needed to correct it? I would love any comments, ideas, or experiences.... Thanks!
