Hi im as nervous as excited, im seeing Dr Roy in couple weeks my mind is made up to have the lap band but at the same time im so nervous, my biggest fear is all the stories of people still after 3yrs of having their band in are still vomiting. Im 110kgs and have struggled the las 10yrs of loosing and gaining weight. I was wondering if anyone has seen Dr Roy or could they offer me some advice about the vomiting?

Hi im nervous excited not sure bit then sure, i have read and read goggled, spoke to two women about Lap Banding one a sucess other had to have it removed. My biggest fear is the vomiting, every single person i have spoken to vomits some a little a lot, 3yrs later a lady still vomits, that scares me so much..Has anyone seen Dr Roy from Norwest????? He seems very nice my GP highly recommends him...Im at that unsure stage now, I havnt been ever unsure since researching until now...Any advise???Good or Bad

Hi im new and have been researching all about Lap Banding, I have my first appointment on the 1st April, thought my mind was made up about getting it, now i guess im so heaps nervous about so much vomiting. I have met two ladies one a sucess one had it removed after 3yrs, however still recommends it...Im. guessing its normal to be nervous, i just dont know how i feel about the sickness????
