Day before \sugery - no worries - happy to be this close.... I have lost over 23 lbs on the pre-op diet - feeling pretty confident.

Hello- Yes everything went well. I had a little trouble while I was in the hospital. I had a high fever and high heart rate. My face was also really flushed. It was thought to be the pain meds, and they were switched and everything seemed to get better. Other then that I've just been dealing with being really sore and really gassy

Hey Saundra I am having my surgery on April 4th - on Monday I start my pre-op diet... I started a few weeks ago to watch my food and began excersizing again.... Just to get a good jump start. So in 16 days I will have the procedure done at 11:00am and will stayover night because of sleep apnea. I am kind of glad I get to stay overnight because likely they will help me manage any pain and I can rest and recover. I have some nervous moments but mostly I am excited to get started. It is so nice to hear you have a supportive spouse... I have one too! without their encouragement and help we would likely have some difficult days ahead. Doing anything alone can be challenging let alone surgery, recovery and behaviour changes. I wish you well and hopefully you can check out my progress after surgery as I will be 8 days post op when you are getting yours done.

Height 5 foot 6 inches
Started diet and excersize 2 weeks ago - down to 244lbs.

Hello - I am new to LapBandTalk - I will be having my surgery on April 4th 2011... I am very interested in this Forum online as I can already see folks asking and answering lots of questions and being very helpful. Looking forward to sharing my experience with others.
