I suppose I am speaking too long (ahem!). I know of people who have lost their bands and one who went for gastric sleeve after two bad bands. Thanks for having this site and good luck to all who have lap bands!!

Hi. Although I was banded 4 years ago, I am new to this site. I lost 89 lb and have gained 10 back, so I am considering going for a fill. I have not seen the band doc for 15 months!. Would love to hear from anyone who has had their band for awhile and how they are doing. My endocrinologist said that there is no evidence for bands past 5 years. ??
