How many vets are actually AT goal and staying there?
Georgia replied to clk's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
Um, yeah!! But I will say this. My daughter, the runner, has squatted behind trees and pulled odd her undies and tossed them because she couldn't get back to civilization (ie BR) quick enough. So I guess I wish I was a runner?? . Nah! -
Jess86, reading your post and glad you are feeling better and past the surgery. I had forgotten some of the things you brought back like the heparin, vibrating leg things and nausea. I ALWAYS get nauseous after anesthesia and was lucky enough to get some good anti nausea med early on. I certainly didn't experience what you did but thanks for preparing others for what can happen. I experienced a similar but less severe episode like you but after first day did well with no complications. Never looked back! 3 years out and doing great!! Good luck!!!

My favorite quote from somebody on here is "Nothing tastes as good as skinny!" At a little over 3 years out, it is def a challenge but we can and do overcome the temptations. Yes, I had to get back on track and relose some regain but I've done it and found it to be very rewarding that I CAN eat more but choose not to! You can do this!!!!!!

To sneeze, burp, hiccup that is the question.......have you gone to far?
Georgia replied to Beach Lover's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't believe that is a sign you have overeaten either. Full, yes. I also sneeze. 7-8 times!!!! Always have since the beginning. 3 years out. -

I can only dream, Fiddle! I used to have IBS prior to sleeve and went like clockwork. Nada. If I even remotely THINK I can go, I'm on a trot to the pot! . Do y'all ever THINK ABOUT THE CRAP (no pun intended we talk about on here! bahahaha -
Pain does strange things to the body! Probably Fluid retention. Remember, you do have swelling in your body too. Hope they get you some relief soon!!

Fast day for me. Hoping I STAY in the high 150s this week. 158 is my loss point for last week. I usually bounce up after the FOUR DAYS NORMAL (that's really too long for me) and then back down to below the previous loss if lucky. At least a pound or two I'm hoping I see 157 or 6 this week!!!! Thinking I'd really like to do Monday and Thursday BUT I'm OFF on Mondays and usually we do something on that day so..... But I really don't like having four LONG DAYS between Fast Days. What do ya'll think about frequency?

Have I told ya'll yet that i LOVE rain! (just a side note lol) Its POURING DOWN RAIN HERE! Was 103 earlier in week so I'm happy. I honestly cant believe that I've actually accomplished this amazing loss since I tried diligently (at least I thought so) with low carb for at least two months and didn't lose more than a few pounds and felt like I was pouring fat down my throat as I did it! Ha! Anyway, I'm so proud of this group that are connected to this thread! We are winners!!!
