    I so admire all this intense exercise! . I think I have really worked it if I manage 30 minutes on my Gazelle trainer while watching tv! I do try to walk 2+ stiff brisk miles 3 times a week or so but that's it!!!

    Reaching 100% excess weight loss?

    Okay, for ME, I didn't do anything extraordinary to lose 100% of excess weight. I lost 100 lbs in less than 8 months. I just kept losing and watching my eating habits. I didn't eat junk. I actually didn't do much exercise except some walking. But it wasn't consistent. So what I guess I am saying is- I know lots of people who reached and lost 100% of excess. I am a little over 5' 7" My goal was 150 and I hit it. Once there I held for a few months but gradually added too much junk and bad eating habits back even though restriction is still great. Regained over 3 year period about 25 lbs. I have lost all but a couple of pounds now so I think it is truly your choice to lose to what you want. I'm not sure what your surgeon was referring to unless it was another surgery. . You can do it!!

I'd be interested to see how everybody else plays out according to the table (you can find the link for table inside the above link article) well, according to the table: I would put me in the "big losers" column I fit in the age pretty much and time use loss #s 59/8wks BMI - I think my BMI was around around 26.9 to start average weight loss - I'm off the charts! theirs 7.12 mine 21 lbs at 8 wks. avg lost week 1.07 theirs mine 3 Body shape apple frame medium TDEE (heres where it is way off!) theirs 2994 , mine 1875 Mobile Weight lost on previous diet - their avg 3.6 um 100 Medical condition affect weightloss - I'd say yes since I've had weight loss surgery but I guess no Range of calorie intake on feed days - Steady Change in feed day behaviour - less food, Snacks, sugary food, carbs, fat, more veggies, less dairy, fewer ready meals, i'd say less Protein for me. I don't drink so alcohol no factor Fast days per week - two Calories eaten on fast days - 401-500 Meals on fast days - here i was NOT average mostly Bfast plus dinner when first started, now mostly lunch, dinner Macronutrients on fast days - mostly lower carb Duration of total fast - 12-16 Binge behaviour - never Fast day exercise - light What was interesting to me was the average age (older) bigger losers, post menopausal bigger losers

    It is amazing to me that a full cup of stirfry veggies has 30 calories!!! So with my 2 ounces grilled chicken stirred in that's a grand total of 100 calories!! Ha! At this point (6pm) I have had 233 calories. Believe, I'll have a snack now. I was more hungry than usual mid day today for some reason. Might be because I only ate two baby bel cheeses at noon for my first "meal"

    Laura, don't stress. I did that too getting settled into the 150s. Took me a couple three weeks to firmly be rooted there ( and probably if I really ate well for a week would be out! Lol). M2G, as FYE said, 9 lbs is nothing to sneeze at and maybe not having enough calories has slowed down your loss but I would make sure also WHAT your calories are on your feed days. I know for me if I don't eat clean even on feed days, I tend to bounce around more. Wow, FYE, just can't get over that you are almost at your all time low! That is simply wonderful.

    Nope. Not if your TDEE or Base metabolic rate is between that range and you are not eating more than those. My goal is 1200 a day. My base rate 1300 something.
