    The Birth of Frankentummy

So thankful that you did. Not have surgical complications even though you had MUCH to endure! I don't think I would have been so good. I have a very low pain threshold and I would have totally freaked out I'm sure. Plus, the nastiness of the facility would have totally been a red flag for me and I would probably have bailed. Thankful you are on your way home now. Take it easy and hopefully, it's all downhill from here. God bless!

    Long term prognosis

Wow! And who knew that even though I quickly, easily and care freely lost 100 lbs in 8 months, breezed along eating my way through piles of junk food and gaining 25 lbs along the THREE YEAR PLUS way, that I'd be an idiot spouting hearsay? . i guess I should have must continued that carefree, mindless eating instead of RESEARCHING, JOINING OTHER COMMUNITY, WORKING LIKE A DOG TO RE LOSE THE WEIGHT and LEARN maintenance through knowledge I gleaned from others on this forum and shared WITH others. ::))

How was your 5:2 day today?

Well, I'm in the "aftermath" phase of Labor Day wknd with ALLthe kids home with Grands too! My little3yr old calls it "Nannie's hotel"! Ha! It was a true joy to we my son who is doing fantastic with his wife and daughter here from NOLA. My daughter and her girls who live here stayed as well las night so every bed in the house was overflowing. My poor doggie, Prince, was terrorized and in hiding when they did t go looking for him! We did a HUGE brisket that cooked all day Saturday and eaten on Sunday with all the trimmings! Surprisingly, there have been bites here and there as well as a slice of turtle cheesecake for my Syd's 11 year old birthday cake Sunday but all in all not eating over calorie count and don't feel any out of control urges! Back on the fast day tomorrow! Now, after remaking beds, washing towels, cleaning kitchen, vacuuming house and straightening up, I'm gong to veg out and watch HGTV! Lol Happy Labor Day to all!

    The Basics Boot Camp

That's great! Keep following your surgeons plan and go back to basics like this recommends if you feel you have slipped a little or are "grazing". You might need to shake it up a bit to restart loss. Eat smaller more frequent meals or eat your biggest in the morning and taper down. Change up your exercise routine. You will get there!!!

How was your 5:2 day today?

Yep, 140 is "relative"! Ha! I'm 5'8" unless I've shrunk a little . This is quite amazing: Results: Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 138.0 lbs Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 141.1 lbs Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 140.9 lbs Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 139.1 lbs Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 121.7 lbs - 164.4 lbs US units metric units other units Wow! At 5'8", if I weighed 138 I would be SKINNY! Really skinny. Too weird. I am wearing size 8 skirts and med/large tops. I'm the tallest person among all my friends and the slimmest now. WW SAYS Your healthy weight range is 132 to 164 lbs. People's choice. 145 Medical recommendation. 125-164 MetLife tables. 139-153 I guess I can pick my number. I pick 145-150!!!!

    The Basics Boot Camp

I think so. I haven't really done it myself. I would just go back to MY basics of strictly protein first, no drinking during meals and no snacking. Eating REALLY clean until back on track. How far out are you now?
