    3 year sleeve anniversary celebration

I'm so ecstatic about the amount of LONG TERM SLEEVERS who are stepping up on VSG! LOTS of three years and above vets now! Imparting to others what we have gleaned through the process, as FYE says, the good the bad and the ugly, is so important to ALL of our continued success. Congratulations to you! You should be extremely proud!!!

    100 mile challenge

It's raining here too! And I LOVE IT! Supposed to rain all day and tonight! I know, M2G, the thought probably makes you nauseous but we really need it and it means FALL is on her way! (Yes, Fall is a she because here in AR sometimes we get it and then SHE changes her mind!). LOL

    100 mile challenge

    Bahahaha
  9. Go, Girl! You can do it! All of you can. 5:2 will give you structure again and help you feel a sense of purpose. I lost 27 pounds in 3 months of regain and truly feel like I wouldn't have been able to get back on track otherwise.

How was your 5:2 day today?

Finished up fast day 2. A little over with 600 but then completed 4 miles on Gazelle and burned almost 300 so I'll take it!
  11. Yay, Chimera! And btw, be careful overworking those arms. My friends son wound up in the hospital for a week with something called extreme Rabdo (sic). Extreme muscle breakdown of some kind. Normal levels around 300. His got to over 32,000. As high as can be measured. From over working out and weights. Weird stuff. Rhabdomyolysis is the breakdown of muscle fibers that leads to the release of muscle Fiber contents (myoglobin) into the bloodstream. Myoglobin is harmful to the kidney and often causes kidney damage.

How was your 5:2 day today?

Okay, Peeps! Pep talk time. I'm missing seeing some of my pals. Where's Cheri? I know some are traveling and other things going on. (Like FLOODS! HERNIAS, etc). We have all done great and have established our 5:2 program for ourselves. I encourage all of you to HIT IT HARD in the next few days/ weeks! Some are seeing losses for the first time in months, some almost to goal, some striving for better maintenance. Whatever your GOAL from 5:2, HIT IT HARD! We have holiday season sneaking up on us and that can be difficult for many reasons to our weight loss or maintenance. Lots of parties, festivities and also mood swings!! I don't know about you guys but sometimes I get a wee bit "blue" too. ( Lost my precious Mom on Christmas Day- sister far away etc). Soooo, with that said, let's lace up our boots and hike up our "big girl" panties (no pun intended Lol) and get er done!! I want to be really at a LOW LOW to HOLD HOLD! Love my 5:2 Peeps!
