    How was your 5:2 day today?

    Well, my plans went a little awry. The oldest Granddaughter wanted us to go to movies with them AND eat at Wendy's. Now it started out well. I had their new chicken flatbread sandwich. (370 cals BEFORE I removed half of the flatbread) so I figured around 275 or so. GREAT! Brought grapes and Water to movie in my purse. . Yep, Great! Not so great the handful of popcorn and about 8 hard werthers SF caramel coffee candies. . So I came in 650. Another . But it could have been a lot worse so I'll take it and be happy for the trip with family. Oh, and BTW, Percy Jackson movie. Not so much.

    Done! ( for now! Added 2.42 to my already 97.63 Drum roll, please! 100.05. The "former fat lady" has sung!!!! ( as is "it ain't over til the FL sings!). And I actually finished 4 days early. Now it's all gravy. (Wow! That sounds really good. Gravy! ) LOL okay, I'm going to finish strong like all of you!

    This is pretty much it in a nutshell. We will NEVER be done! After three years, I am still learning the how's, nots and shoulds of living a healthy, somewhat normal life. I reached goal, and all co morbidities were eliminated. Gained 25 lbs, figured out what I had to do, did it AGAIN, reached goal AGAIN. Normal BMI 22.6 or 23.1 according to what scale you use and now I want to lose another 5 or so to have a better bounce range. I get so tired of people saying "Well, you don't have to worry anymore, do you?" Or I didn't think you could GAIN WEIGHT now ! I'm working much harder at this now than I did the first three years of VSG!!! It's for life, folks. Goals are Fluid.

    Wow! Right on the money! I want to lose another 4-5 lbs. I weight 150. Says my goal weight is 148 based on my body fat choice (25%). Thanks for the pics. I don't have any aspirations to be most of those. I'll take 25%!

    I'm a slurp, slurp, slurper. Not a sip, sip, sipper! Ha!! I am quite impressed with myself, though. Hee hee. I can now say I "am a coffee drinker!" Well, THAT might be stretching it.

    Okay, I "did" probably one of the ONLY Protein Shakes Ive ever done in my sleeve life this morning! Ha! The ESA carb control chocolate fudge mixed with about a cup of coffee ( I DON'T EVEN DRINK COFFEE!!!!!!!!! NEVER HAVE!!!) , mixed with ice. Pretty yummy I wasn't able to "nurse it" as long as FYE says she can. I'm a huge, thirsty drinker girl so it lasted until about 12pm. Started it too early - around 9 am. At first, I thought it was going to make me feel sickish (is that a word??) but once I let the first swallows settle and slowly sipped it, kinda good! Really. And I'm so impressed with myself for drinking coffee! HA! Anyway, now it is only 12:30 so I've got a LOONNNNG afternoon ahead. Ha! I did have a babybel light so I'm at around 150 cals. Daughter coming for supper (spaghetti) tonight so... (smile) I'm going to try really hard to be good and not go too far over. I REALLY, REALLY want to get into high 140's soon. Hopefully, before cruise Nov 9th. I'm having a little trouble with my calories being higher that I've been previously eating on Feast Days. Still within my "norm" but def not like my early 5:2 days! With that said, I've also been doing a bunch more walking (to get that challenge finished!!!!! why did I?) and that's a good thing but need to get back to my REAL basics!! Hope everyone is having a good Fast day or Feast Day!
