Sarsar, it was divine! My DIL Is a Disney fanatic and has been since childhood so she plans it all out for us and we just follow through! Lol And guess what? I'm at a new low 143.8! I can truly understand the anxiety. I had it too where I actually was dreading the cruise thinking I would gain. Now, isn't that Asinine!? We are going to have to learn to just keep cool, have fun, enjoy life and go with the flow!!! We will go up and down and lose and gain but consistency and maintenance is all about that, isn't it? You can do this!!

Oh, Swizzly!! I feel so bad for you!!!!!! I can truly relate. A few years ago I was helping my daughter move (single mother) and while unscrewing the water hose on the washer the pipe broke in two! The HOT WATER running full force at midnight!! Of course we did not know where the ster turn off was. Called maintenance. No answer. Went around whole apt complex screaming to anyone in sight. ALL THIS TIME I held on with all my might pushing the water down and my friend dragging every blanket Sheet and towel we could find into the area. After about an hour maintenance shows up. Guess where the water turn off was? Right above my head on top of the water heater where you could t see it! It completely flooded her downstairs neighbors apt. Water ran down the walls and about 6 inches of standing water. They immediately moved them and started sucking water out. What I was most Thankful for? That my hair brained (I thought) daughter had JUST THE WEEK BEFORE renewed her renters insurance and UPPED THE LIMITS!! So I will def be crossing fingers and sending up prayers for you!!!!!!

I finally totally quit looking at the threads talked about because I was so tempted to lash out at some of the posts I just chose to walk away. . Boy, as we all know, it doesn't get easier as we get further out other than knowing what to do and gaining the discipline to DO IT most of the time. Yes, I'll admit I had problems with food. Junk food. So I have to stay far, far away. Most of the time.

Yep, CGJ. I have a close friend that has been changing lifestyles and losing weight over the last months (non WLS). She started a year ago Dec. She has lost all but three pounds to her goal of 139. Probably in the 35-40 lb. weight loss range. We are buddy's and keep each other going so ce we are both competitive. And therein lies the problem. I am 5'8". She is barely 5'5". I weigh 144 now and goal is 140 to have a nice bounce. When she said her goal is 139, guess what my new goal wants to be?? Anybody. Anybody??? I lost an even 100 after surgery and reached my GOAL 8 months later. Regained almost 30 lbs and took me from June to October to get back there! What I'm saying is we are probably NEVER gonna be really completely content with ourselves. Ever. Am I denying myself anything? Nope. Just ate like a horse ( excuse CGJ and walked my tail off to not lose ground. Happily right back to where I was before cruising. I'm almost 60. May look at things a little bit differently because I am married and not dating. I cannot even imagine the terror that would put me in! I'm rooting for All of you!! OD, CGJ, GT. And if I missed one or two. Forgive. Yep, we are all different but all alike too! I love and send encouragement to all of you. I truly feel "knit" to this gang!

Maybe he was afraid to open up the subject. You know that is EXACTLY what my husband would do. Now, me, on the other hand, I'm gonna ask!!!!

Yep, I left AR week ago Thurs. 45 degrees high. Today it's EIGHTY TWO DEGREES!!! Love the pic! Congrats on the race!

Okay, she weighed!! I was only up less than a pound!! Whoo hoo!!!!! Guess that 37 miles I walked helped those high end meals and desserts after all. They said the average person gains 7-14 pounds on a cruise. LOL. Thank you , Sleevie and the fact the I walked the stairs constantly now!!!
-
I drove back through Cleveland today on my way home!!! ????. Didn't see you anywhere. LOL. So, not upset with the fact that I put in over 35 miles of walking on my cruise!!! And THOUSANDS of stairs. NSV. The fact that I Would have NEVER Preferred the stairs over the elevator!!! Total to date. 79.6 miles!!
-
Well, she's back from her cruise! She's waiting to debark. And she hasn't weighed in 9 days with three plus meals a day! LOL. Should be interesting. Um, 5:2 doesn't work on cruises. Ha!! BUT the puny of walking and stair climbing is sure to help and 5:2 on Tuesday.
