Nope, I don't believe you are "stretching" your sleeve. It is a natural occurrence with all of us Vets. And I think it is also because we are eating LOTS of different kinds of things too. If you went back to eating dense Protein FIRST, veggies 2nd and others last with no liquid, I'll bet you cant eat much more than at the beginning. With that said, the sleeve does relax some and you will be able to eat more. That's where the "being a tool" part really comes into play and you have to make wise choices, find a maintenance plan that works for you and stick to it! And yes, You WOULD know if you were overeating. If you are grazing, and snacking all day, of course, you will eat more also. You've dont great! Just continue to "follow your plan" and eat like you should within reason.

Georgia, I will probably be making a trip to Texas again soon to see my friend who is having problems with drugs. Since we drive right through Arkansas I really hope we can meet up and I am serious about this! I would love to meet you in person (all of you really). YES!! Let's!

Talked to Alex - it seems Yahoo (maybe others) has been rejecting emails from BP for some reason and after a few BP doesn't mail to you for 30 days. He took my name off the list and said to tell anybody else not getting their notifications by email to message him direct.

Awesome!!! -
You said it exactly right. For me, to lose I have to eat complete clean. I've found I can stay reasonably in range and do some carby eating but I sure feel more yucky doing it AFTER the initial YUM. . And we Are in the middle of an ICE STORM this morning and today. This was to be a fast day. Of course, I am home now iced in and what do I fix for breakfast- Biscuits!!!!! . Ha! Comfort. I will, of course, climb back on the 5:2 train probably tomorrow.

I agree totally but as WLS peeps we already know lower carb and lower sugar is what helps reduce carvings and to lose weight. You DO need good fats, though!!

Maintainers, what is your carb level/intake like?
Georgia replied to Jenny12's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
Okay, they look great but is ONE piece a serving size? If so, 130 cals, only 4 protein and 12 carbs?
