Taken this morning! wanted to "look at myself" and analyze. Also wanted to see what my new little Tommy Hilfiger dress looked like! ha! And yes, I can see that I need to cut those carbs out so I can drop those pounds I've gained in the "middle area" That is where I carry my weight. Top half! I'm an "apple!" lol -
Oh, my! MeginNOLA, I just noticed you have gone from 306 to 186. That is awesome!!!!!! AND you live in NOLA! My baby grand, Drew, and my son and his wife live there. I try to visit at least quarterly and was there for Mardi Gras! You look great. Are you still losing?

Carnie Wilson On The Today Show This Morning
Georgia replied to something2think's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So if you eat one slice of pizza, or half a sandwich or 4 oz of meat do you feel full? Because bread becomes a "slider" for many, including me, after a while. I can eat a slice of pizza too. I ate half of a BBQ sandwich yesterday for lunch and the other half for dinner. Remember, you used to eat probably TWO sandwiches without stopping before or 4-6 slices of pizza. I think yo= u probably have more restriction than you think. My Dr told me at surgery that if good choices were made total wright loss would be around 3 years -
No, I don't so. ;I think it has to do with genetics. If you lost weight easily and quickly when you dieted before, I think it is the same. I always lost easily when I put my mind to it. Just keeping it off was the problem! I lost very easily and quickly and reached goal about 9 mos out. I do think you will lose MORE weight overall

Hey, you can also use any can of diet soda and make any boxed cake mix! Works perfectly! Alo a can of pumpkin. No eggs or oil required! Yummy! Sent from my iPad using VST

Well, just found this thread so need updates on those who joined in January and how you are doing? I've SEEN goal, been there, held it in my hand and now have regained about 12 lbs! Yep, So I would really like to get BACK THERE and stay put! I'm not too unhappy with my size/weight since I am 5'8" and wearing 8-10 but I know I need to kick it in and re-train my habits. So here I go!!!!!!

Does Anyone Have Any Regrets?
Georgia replied to Dizzle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
BIGGEST REGRET - that it wasns't available to me YEARS AGO! And that I had had the courage to do it sooner. Although, I was one of the very first my surgeon did in this area 2 years ago. Dr. Gibbs. - Little Rock, AR \ Sleeved 6/4/2010 Pre VSG - 250 Reached goal - 150 March 2011 Current - 160 ( too much junk !!) But this is a level weight for the past almost 8 mos.
