how did ur attitude change after your weightloss
samantha209 replied to livinglifelikeitsgolden's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have always been extremely confident, maybe borderline arrogant....I can definitely see my weight loss getting to my head....but with that being said, I am a nice person, a trustworthy and loyal friend, and I dont see that changing. However my divaliciousness will be on the rise -

I had my first barf episode today after lunch. I had a gortons grilled filet which is about 2 ozs and i had about 3 teaspons of applesauce. My chest started hurting and my mouth started watering i ran to the bathroom...and within minuted i barfed...but it was only the applesauce. Never been so happy to throw up....at least now i know my sleeve works and I haven't been eating too much

is anyone losing weight on the "pre"pre op diet?
samantha209 replied to wondering1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
One piece of advice that I got from a friend who is also a fellow sleever was lose as much weight pre-op as possible. Of course I had cheat days and I fell off the wagon weeks at a time, but overall I did well losing 44 lbs and I am ecstatic I did. It helped me jump start my loss, and considering this stall, I am happy because at least I have noticeable, weight loss. -

samantha209 replied to wondering1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i had a 6 month "diet" prior to surgery...and i lost most of my weight prior to surgery....its been a lil over 6 weeks, and i have lost about 18 lbs post op, and 44 lbs pre op -
I am definitely getting my water in.... i know i shouldn't weigh daily...it hard...i work in a hospital, so there is a scale in my office, my bathroom, everywhere...i dont have one at home because of that. But i am trying to keep a positive attitude. I feel better today! Thanks
