Congrats on you date! As I was reading your post, I was wondering (even before you wrote it) if you were getting close to TOM. Just keep following your doctor's instructions and everything will work out for you.

Concentrate on staying hydrated. Protein can wait if it is causing problems.
I can't cook ... if you can try making your own broth. I went to the chinese restaurant and ordered wonton soup and gave the wontons to my family.
It tasted wonderful! I hope this helps!
It looks like you lost some weight pre op. My doctor said the first 30 pounds were the easiest. After that it gets harder. Looks like you may be in the same boat. I lost 12 pounds total in the first two weeks and nothing in week three. I was ready for the 3 week stall and didn't get freaked out. I keep looking at 42 pound total loss and am feeling better than before surgery.
Stick with the program and it will come off!

I have attended a free monthly support group in my hometown starting in September 2010. I will never make the 2 hour drive into Atlanta for the meetings held by my surgeon's office.
I went back to work at 13 days post op. I have a desk job with no lifting. I could have gone back sooner but I went out of town for 5 days to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday.
My process was going very slow until the end and then everything was speeding by. I had seven days notice for the actual surgery.
Congrats on your approval ... I am very excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!
