My dad got really weepy after heart surgery. The doctor said it was normal after surgery. I hope it passes soon. Hugs to you! -

I am not sure. I was worried about the same thing. I was told by my surgeon's insurance navigator that if I lost 20 pounds in a month, I might get denied. And if I fell below 40 BMI I might not get approved. Ask questions regarding your particular situation. -

Just keep following doctors orders. You will get out of this with time. (You can remind me of this next week when I hit the 3 week stall) We had surgery on the same day and I lost 8 pounds the first week and 4 the second. I started on pureed foods on day 6 and soft on day 11. I was so glad I did not have to stay on liquids as long as you and others. Today is the first day I met my protein goal, but have been meeting my liquid goal since day 4. I sure hope it gets better for you! -

I am planning to check out your photography after Easter -I gave up facebook for lent.

Recovery is going pretty well. I am having less hunger and swallowing is starting to hurt less. I am having a little bleeding from 2 incisions when I sleep. I start pureed tomorrow and am excited to see how that goes. I am going out of town on Wednesday for my Dad's 80th birthday. Thanks for checking on me!
