I've been overweight for the last 23 years.....and I'm sick of it. I have wasted so much of my life coping with stress/my emotions negatively with food. I have researched weight loss surgery for the last 4 yrs. Gastric Bypass has never been an option for me up until 6 months ago. I then started looking and found the Lap Band but...not for me. Then all of a sudden I found the VSG surgery and a Surgeon who does it and I was sold. Not only do my knees hurt but I am an adult asthmatic (get bronchitis ALOT..and I am not a smoker), found out 3 months ago I am pre-diabetic, and I am restricted from many things due to my weight. Even though this is permanent, I am ready for a change. I am scared to death though!! Wish me lotsa luck as I wish all of you;)
