I think most have buyer's remorse in th beginning, at least I know I did. And I am one of the peeps who had basically zero issues. No gas pains, no pain really at all, but I still felt my whole world had changed and there was never ever going back and I got angry with myself for about a week. Then I stop the pity party and have never looked back. I love going on shopping sprees.(WOW I NEED TO STOP THAT TOO.) LOL. I love I can cross my legs. I love I can walk for miles at one time. I love I can get on a bus, train, or plane and know I will have enough room for someone to sit on either side of me and not feel squashed. And I saved the best for last. I absolututely LOVE THE WAY MEN LOOK AT ME!!!!! The positive outweights the negitive by a long shot. I would not trade my sleeve for anything. Deb

I have BCBS Fed and had my surgery last Aug. I was initially approved for the lapband,( by another surgeon, a real a**hole) but decided at the last moment not to get it once I heard about the sleeve (from another surgeon.) I thought at first.... oh since I was already approved for one procedure it should not take long to approve me for another one. That's not quite how it worked out, but I was eventually approved for the sleeve. Good luck, becuz you will LOVE YOUR SLEEVE!!!!! -

Yes,it is very common to gain weight from the fluids after surgery. Don't trip the weight will soon be falling off of you. Good luck!!! Deb

CONGRATZ :D :D. Wonderful news. We are all looking forward to more updates and more ultrasounds. Are you gonna get the 3 or 4D ultrasounds? I bet your son is happy too. WOW!!! I am 7 months out I had my first Marqarita at Chili's yesterday and I had about 5 sips and could not drink anymore. I felt the effects immediately. However, I was never a BIG drinker anyway, so that might account for it hitting me as hard as it did. Good luck!!!! Deb -
Everythings pretty goodl. I am stalling, but on my own choosing. I can lose weight toooo fast and then I look sick, so I'm just trying to let my body catch up. I've holding steady at 187 for a few weeks. I am in a size 12 jeans and when I had my surgery in August I used to wear a 26 jeans. I still would like to get to single digits in jeans, but it will come when I am ready
