Does insurance cover psych eval?

I have BCBS Federal and of my visits to the dietician and my psych eval were covered. All I had to pay was the $20 co pay for the in-network provider. The dietician and psych eval for me was a one time thing. The psych eval was alot of paper work,which took me about a hour and a half to complete. The good thing was they sent me the paperwork before my appoinment. I hope this answers your question. Deb -

Hi Donna4545. My name is Deb AKA Dansha. I read ur blog and found it very interesting. I too have BCBS and I think we should be good as far as approval. I was approved for the lap band from BCBS, but then decided to get the sleeve instead because I heard alot of good things via YouTube. My dr who was going to do my lap band doesn't do the sleeve, so I had to find another surgeon who did. I have an appointment to see my new surgeon on June 14.I'm very pump and ready to go!!!! Good luck!!!
