Hi all! I hope you are all well. Anna, great job at the loss! -145 is wonderful! I am at -115 and trying to hang on to my pounds, now. Such a strange turn of events in my mind. I RAN a whole 5K about a month ago and am likely going to do the Savannah Rock N Roll half marathon in November. We'll see!

Hope you are all well, I'm barely in here and wish I came in more often. Life is busy! I've finally hit a nice happy weight for my body and seem to be stabilized. I hit my goal at 5.5 months post-op and am now at a total of -105. I'm struggling with the acceptance of my new look. It's just so foreign!

Hello all, I'm working on a presentation and wanted to gather as much input as I can. Any opinions, tidbits, tips and hints are greatly appreciated! I'll likely post this in another area of this site as well... Thanks so much! Melisa What has been your experience with the after effects of surgery on your family? How do you accommodate your pouch/sleeve/band while cooking for your family? What are ways that you've changed the family diet as a result of your procedure? What are some favorite recipes you've modified to make healthier and how?

I went to Eisenhower yesterday and saw Dr Choi. He wanted to do my surgery on Dec 14. I am going out of town on the 19 Dec to spend Christmas with my daughter in Atlanta so I had to turn it down. I am dissapointed because I wanted to have it and get it over with but I will have to wait till the end of January now. Patience is a virtue.

going great. i hit goal (-100) and am doing much the same... wrangling kids, living the high life. i've gotten off track with working out lately but am hoping to get back after my leg heals. i had surgery to remove some varicose veins yesterday. i just read a post of yours and it looks like you are losing quite well!

All is going well. Still loosing weight and getting in plenty of exercise. I still try to post now and then, just staying busy with life these days. I have the video log I am keeping up at youtube under user name VSGswift. How are things for you?
