Good luck, Ladies!!! Hoping all goes well tomorrow! -
Hey Kathy... I'm still losing fairly consistently and have noticed my first saggy skin area... my inner thighs. Sigh. My arms are ok so far and who knows what my abdomen will look like! Nothing is too bad, yet, and I am targeting areas for workouts! Good luck.

Ah, the jitters. It is hard not REALLY knowing what to expect. Thankfully you've found this as a support avenue and hopefully you have a nice support network at home, too! Good luck on the drive down and back... Be careful and be confident, this is truly a life changing event! -

what the heck is it anyway? Glad the surgery is on! -
Although I've had great loss so far, I am definitely slowing to a trickle. In some research I've done, it pointed something out to me I'd forgotten... after our surgeries our bodies are thinking we are starving them. I think I need to realize that it took me 34 years to get to this point (or more specifically 2 years of heaving gaining) and it just won't all come off in 3 months. I am still surprised when I lose weight because before all it did was go up! But that being said, it is a little disappointing to not see the rate of loss I did in the beginning! Good luck and hang in there. I have noticed that if I don't log all of the bits I put into my mouth I lose track of my daily totals. Just like before, the calories seem to sneak up on me!

I think it's fabulous! Tempting to get rid of all your clothes isn't it? It will be a great thing to keep you busy so you aren't ticking each second by... Good luck!

just keep your fluid handy and just keep taking the tiniest of sips all the time! That's what worked for me, but around day 5 I could drink much easier. Good luck!

Becoming frustrated with nutritional balance
mommaof4yoopers replied to sickofrollercoaster's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Hey Angie, Sorry you're frustrated! I can typically go around 4-5 days before I see a loss anymore, but it definitely increases as my physical level is ramped up. I don't really adhere to any guidelines other than try to get something in! Hoping you hit 20 tomorrow! Oh, are you getting all your water in? That does help me. Melisa -
nice bike! and you do need to think of fun vanity plates like hot geeky biker... that's a good suggestion!

How nice for you! It is very empowering to not only do what you set out to do but also feel energized afterward. I, too, have to remind myself of how good I feel after a workout. Pre-op I didn't ever routinely incorporate exercise into my life. now, I feel like I can actually do it! -
