    Stall...for how long?

I was sleeved on 11/9 and I just broke my 19 day stall. I was getting highly upset but from what I'm hearing its your body catching up to the weight loss that just occured. Don't worry it will break soon, trust in ur sleeve

    Salad

I'm 9 weeks out and I just tried a salad. I cut it into little tiny pieces and did pretty good. I only had a little bit because I was scared my sleeve would rebel. I'm a huge salad lover and that would just suck if my sleeve hated it.
  5. I know I shouldn't celebrate just yet but I am. I think my stall broke, I was peeing all damn day yesterday so most likely water weight,. I'm down 1-2 lbs depending on how many times I check the scale in aww. My size 16's r now loose, must be doing something right n the scale must be lying, hee hee

  6. I was freezing all the time at first. Mine went away at about the 11th day or so.

4 Months Post Op -- So far so good!!!

You look fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ur an inspiration to us slow losers or at least me who gets down n out when i don't see the scale move.
  8. It was a beautiful day outside, 80 degrees and sunny, but my muscles are screaming at me to stop working out, hee hee

  9. LESLIEH

    Just because

You look fantastic Tiff, thx for the inspiration
  10. Stupid scale, I'm so done with it. I'll just take that my clothes are falling off that I'm losing and screw the scale

  11. I'm 34 and had my surgery on Nov. 9th, I tried to have the procedure done years ago but I had to change Dr's seeing my old Dr was dead set on not having any of his patients have the surgery (his dad passed away w/complications from the RnY). I finally had it done and love every minute of my life now

    Average Weight???

My Dr said the same thing when I asked him what is my goal weight. He simply stated he's not going to give me a number, we will know when i get there. I was stunned because I've heard and read everyones Dr atleast has a goal weight for them to be at but hey I'll take my Dr's approach. So my goal is to get to 160-170 lbs. I think begin smaller then that at 5'6 wouldn't look good on me.
  13. Supersweet I think that is whats going on with me. My protein shakes just don't sit well in my tummy if they have milk in them. But thats the only thing so far that I'm having problems with but then again I'm not on full foods yet
  14. After 2 days of protein shakes I think I'm lactose intolerant. Don't even get half way done and the restroom is calling my name. Back at work and already did my 5 flights of stairs, I only took 5 mins though, must do more!

  15. So before divorcing my scale, I'm going to try to let my obsession go and weigh once a week on Friday nights when I get off work. If he still lies to me then were having a serious one on one conversation

  16. LESLIEH

    Was that me?

    Woohooo congrats
  17. Tiff, I almost choked as I was eating some chicken and read your post. But man is it sooo true. I chose the sleeve because I have an aunt who had the RnY and gained all her weight back and some. I didn't want the malabsorbtion and other complications that happen with the RnY.
  18. My running thru the house dancing was short lived. Damn I really should wait till my loss is for a couple days, out of the 4 lbs I lost 2 found their way back home, darn it

  19. Ok I'm really not a writer but here it goes. At my all time highest I was 309lbs, yes 309 ahhhh. I was sleeved on Nov 9th and I now weight, drum roll plz... 214 lbs, yes I went there and said my weight. Now my scale and I are having some arguments because it's not moving, it's stayed the same for 3 weeks. So I went to a support meeting from with a few girls from this site and I was told I look amazing and so on, aww shucks. After the meeting I told my hubby I actually feel pretty now and I'm not even at goal. Then hubby has to say what all hubby's say when they don't want to be in the dog house, "baby you've always been beautiful." During the meeting it was brought up that I really need to post some before and after photos on here so people can see the difference and yes if your struggling and having issues you will get past it. I went from a ugly duckling to a swan in my book and I'm sooo not done. If I can do this anyone can. 1st pic is a year ago Halloween on my wedding day, 2nd pic is well me again, last pic is me today as of about 4 1/2 hrs ago
  20. Running thru the house, dancing like a crazy lady. Yes my stall has left the building. I'm down another 4 lbs. whoot whoot

    Drinking Water

I think we've all have this issue. I used to drink about a gallon of water a day before surgery and now plain water doesn't agree with me. I just went and bought some of the K20 and I'm gonna see how that goes. I asked my Dr why can't I drink water anymore and he said it is common but to try it at different temps. Like room temp, almost frozen, lightly chilled and so on.
  23. Taking a breaking from working out and upping my calories. Then we'll see if my scale and I are still divorcing, hee hee

    Amazing feeling

I think some people have the misconception that I lost almost 100 lbs in the 2 months from surgery. Nope I lost almost 100 lbs in a years time. I've lost about 37 lbs since surgery. But still 100lbs is a 100lbs gone and it will never come back
