Wow... how high up were you... the view looks amazing and that includes how slim your legs are..lol... well done on your weight loss and achievements to date!!! -
Hello all... thanks for your kind words... I am starting to feel 'pleased' with myself... I think this is the best tool... at long last I am starting to feel human again!! We are all doing really well and this is what I love about this site... the encouragment! Here is one for you though... how complicated are our bodies...? Last week I lost 1lb and 3 1/2 inches. This week it is 4lb and 1/2 inch!!! How strange is that... but, hey, I ain't complaining!

Naps, and the lack thereof
coops replied to Go Kart Mozart's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I agree... it is great to have more energy and no nanna naps, although I find that just lately I have started to burn the candle at both ends, so I might indulge in a little nap out of choice not need..lol -
Just thought I would give a little update on here... three months exactly today; I weighed and this week...(drum roll please)... I am down 4lbs....yey!! Glad to see that as it sort of makes up for the slow weeks. I took the advice and started to track my food and the first day I noticed that I only ate 535 cals... and that was with 2 hours of exercise... I increased my calorie content, felt much better and had a good weight loss this week. Not sure it will continue at this pace, but thought I would let you all know and thank you for the good advice ... x

Stalling so soon????
coops replied to Classiladi13's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi Classiladi, yea me too... I hit the stall and then some... it started to come off again slow but sure... try not to worry too much - although easier said than done!! And I agree it is really frustrating... whilst I was in my stall I tried to focus on the positive stuff ... the NSV etc, that helped me get through it. Good luck, and I am sure it will break soon x -

hey sleeve for me, I have mentioned it to my nurse, and she didn't really seem overly concerned!! I am due to see my surgeon again in a few weeks so if my lil friend hasn't come I will mention it again... it has been about 9 weeks now!! I have had some of my usual symptoms but nothing else!!

i'd like to hear from the smaller sleeve patients out there
coops replied to selvester420's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hiya Mellissa, I too am 5 2 but I was heavier at 238 on the day of surgery, I am now 207. I recovered really well, no major problems. I was tired a lot in the first 3 weeks and found that I did a lot of nanna napping; I also found it uncomfortable to lie on my side so I spent three weeks propped up in bed! Apart from that all good as regarding recovery... Good luck for the 23rd x -

Chilo, awwww thank you... I don't feel that pretty at the moment mind...lol ... I thought I should put a pic on just incase peeps thought I was a bloke... as Cooper is my surname, my hubby also gets called Coops!!! -
Thanks Cheri, I think you're right... I will defo have a look and track it for a day or so... are you on a three meal a day type-thing... that is what my surgeon has told me to do with no snacks, but I notice on here there are a lot of sleevers who eat 5-6 times a day... it can be way confusing...lol and now another vent... my bloody ticker doesn't work properly... I lost a pound this week and sooooo want it to show...hahahaaaa

Anyone in here from the UK ?
coops replied to Peffermintchili's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey, I had no pre op diet... my surgeon didn't recommend one, so I didn't follow one..lol... I know other surgeons are different though. I am in Wales, so we are a little behind England, and although, my Dr recommended the surgery and applied for me to do it on the NHS I was declinded because I was too small (yeah, righto!) and I had no serious medical complaints. I had to go private, and got a loan out to pay for it! I don't regret doing that as I am feeling the benefits... How far along the process are you? -

coops replied to Peffermintchili's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hiya, yep, like Chilo, Uk too... I am 11 weeks out and doing ok... I have never lost weight like this, despite doing various diets etc... this is a great forum with loads of good advice... any questions ask away!! =] -
Coops: You have had a heck of a time the entire time since surgery, haven't you? Your body just does not want to let go of your weight. Maybe tracking would help, though I admit it's a pain and I hardly do it myself anymore. I'd say fatsecret is fairly easy to use and I love that they let you count net carbs. None of them are exactly fun to use but it might help you out. I hope it gets easier for you and you get a surprise drop in weight soon. Hey Cheri, thanks... although the actual op and recovery was really smooth for me, I know what you are saying...I don't feel as if I have 'settled' completely as my weight loss is so inconsistent and therefore I have no pattern, if that makes sense... in the last 5 weeks I have lost 9lb, which is good, but that has been really sporadic... basically I lost the most weight in the first 3weeks and things have just really slowed down. I do tend to focus on the positive, but sometimes I am glad that I have this forum to have a vent and then move on! I will have a look at tracking, see how it goes... might be worth a try but I have done it pre-sleeve and got wat toooooo obessed...lol. I am wondering if I might not be eating enough... just have to keep doing what I am doing, and as long as it doesn't increase, I should, bascially, stop moaning...lol...
