  1. My hubby surprised me and got me a BodyBugg. Its really cool and it connects right to my phone, so I can upload it at anytime during the day. My question for anyone that has it and used it for awhile is, does it seem to work with your goals that you put in? I put in that I would like to lose 3 lbs a week, but am wondering if I should put in the 2 lbs a week that I know I should do? If you follow it and get the results that you want according the the BodyBugg, are you really losing the weight that it thinks you should? What I mean is I should have a deficit of 1300 calories a day and consume 1200 calories and burn 2500 per day. If I get to this level, will I lose the 3 lbs per week that it says I should? Just wondering how accurate it is with the weight loss portion of it?!? The main reason I got it was to keep track of the calories that I burn during the day. But it does so much more than that. tI really is a cool little tool. My hubby is spoiling me because he is living and working out of state right now and he feels really bad about that. I told him he needs to save some money and spoil me in about 6 months or so with some new clothes

I didnt do any exercise yesterday and still had a deficit of 1700. I only had about 800 calories because I was on liquids for a fill. I get in over 10000 steps just from my job. So even if I get in my 1200, which I usually do, I am still going to be in a big deficit. I guess I will gave to tweek it as I go.
  3. Thanks guys, I was thinking thw same way. I stick to 1200 calories and im getting my Protein in. So I think until its not working I will stick with it. Ive lost 10 lbs since my last visit. Actually the doctors office has me as losing 29.5 lbs total. So that was a bonus. Thanks again for comments!
  4. I just think its better than the mcdonalds I would stop and get every morning lol

Lol I think I am going to wear them tomorrow. I might go back and get some 14's (they were $12) to have a pair for the end of the summer;) im so bad

    am i infected?

If its pretty warm to the touch, it is probably infected and the redness will spread around the area more. I would say to mark the area with a pen, but you might not want to do that. As you have taken pics, you might want to take another one later and compare them, if the redness around it is getting larger, than you might want to go in.

Heatherbbb, can you wear a light weight sweater over your shirt during your meetings? I work in a daycare center all day, so I wear t-shirts, so not a problem there...

    Who is using a BodyBugg

Thanks for the input. Im really liking it so far. Easy to understand. The only thing I havent found is where to input my weight lose. Need to play around the website some more. I also took mine off to sleep. It says it calculates your sleep, so I dont think I need to wear it then. Pretty cool little tool. I think it will keep me in check. I was almost going to skip walking last night, but I was short in steps, so I made myself go walking.

But this time I can definately tell that it is more sore during. Anyone else experience this. Good news is, I was still able to lose this week even with my visitor. Yay

    first fill. YAY

I had my first fill on june 6th. I skipped my last one two weeks later because I really didnt need one. I guess I already had 1cc in there from surgery and she gave me 4.75 mor. So u have 5.75 in there right now. I go in for my next one on 7/23. Im not sure if I will get one or not. Still feeling pretti good. Not usuallu hungry at all. Maybe .25 if anything. Im glad yours went well. You should lose pretty good over the next week or so. Then it might slow again. Ive lost about 8 since my fill (so more than the 2 lb average)
  21. I am just finishing up my 9th week. Was just thinking about a day where I might forget that I have the band and maybe eat alot, or something I shouldnt eat. Right now it is always at the forefront of my mind. I dont really have a mind set that I am dieting, but more of kinda changing my thinking of food. Diets I would feel deprived and hungry. Right now I am not hungry hardly ever, so I am viewing food as a nesessity. (except on saturdau mornings;)) Just curious if anyone has forgotten they were banded or is it always on your mind?
  22. Wow, thats cool. I was a self pay, but I turned in some of the stuff to the insurance company just to see uf it would go thru, they paid the initial visit and over 1/2 the surgery. That was a bonus
