    not losing pounds

Its weird losing weight this time. I feel like I am losing alot more inches this time around. The last time I was in a 14, I weighed about 180 or so, but now I am fitting into a 14 and I weigh 197. I wonder why that is...

    First time shopping since losing...

Whoo Hooo! I also went shopping today because I cleaned out my closet and I have nothing left. There are some great sales going on now. I have been wearing a 16 and they have been getting a little big as well. I went and tried on a 14 and they fit. They are snug, but I can get them on and buttoned and no muffin top LOL. I think that after I wear them for the day they will probably fit good by the end of the day. So I can deal with a little snug for the mornings. hehe I also bought a pair of 12's just cause they were on clearence, so I will have something to shoot for. Thats what I did for the 14's and it worked. Yahhh for us!

Do you have a problem with Chicken???

I usually have problems with Chicken also. I have to cut it up really really small. But sometimes that doesnt even help. It has gotten a little better since I had an unfill, but It still goes down rough.

Hair Loss after Lap Band Surgery

I've noticed a little also and im a little over 3 months. I had fairly thick hair so I am not to worried yet. If it gets anymore I might start to worry
  12. My port area is right next to my belly button, and I have noticed that if I sit for a long period, it starts to get very tender and sore. It is located right where I bend over and granted I dont have the need to sit alot during the day. I went to a meeting for my son's football team tonight and we had to sit down for about 2 hours and it really started to get sore, so much so that I had to stand for awhile. Does anyone else have this feeling? I am over 3 months post op, so not sure how long this might be tender for or if this is going to be the new norm. ?!? Thanks!
  13. I put on a pair of pj bottoms tonight that i havent worn in awhile. And its a good thing that they have a tie string!!! They are huge on me now Before my thighs would be kinda tight in them, now they look like they are goucho pants . I have it in my mind that I will have to go and out and buy regular clothes, but I seem to have forgotten that I will need to buy pj's, underware, bra's and a whole bunch of stuff once I get to the point where they just wont stay up any longer (even with a draw string) There are a few pair of my pj's that I will be extremely bummed about because they are so comfy now that they are worn in

    Feeling fat!

This is so normal! I think 99 percent of banders go thru this. Dont worry, if you stick with the program and eat how you are suppose to eat, it will start to work for you! It is a slow process! Keep your chin up and stick with it!!!
  21. I just posted progress pics! Let me know if anyone can tell a difference!

    Cheating during post op

Dont do it!!! You can do this!. You just went thru surgery to help you thru this journey. That is a huge step to take, dont ruin so soon. Keep with the program and give the band time to do its thing. We all know that the first couple of weeks or even months are going to be about willpower. But if you can make it thru that and then you can start to rely on the band a little bit more. But it will only work if you work with it. K - speach is over! LOL Good luck

    Loose Skin (Upper Arms)

That is the one area where I dont think I am losing enough of. It seems that my arms seem to be still kinda big to what I am losing in other areas. I think I need to work them out a little bit more. I have the Batwings happening as well. But I think they run in my family, I remember my grandma having them as well. LOL I think this might be something that we just have to accept about ourselves or work like heck to try to get them to trim down.
