OMG! Wendy!! How are you!?!?!?! Glad to hear you are getting banded...its the best thing that has happened to me. So, where are you at now? I had heard you left GW but didn't hear where you went to. I'm really glad you did break the ties, you were worth way more than what GW was giving you credit for. How are the boys??? WOW! So glad you saw the post and replied. I'll have to check out that group you sent a link for. Use to do Water aerobics a loooong time ago and loved it! We need to get together, would love to catch up and see how you are doing :cursing: J

Was anyone banded in December of '06?
JaymeC replied to thebionicbroad's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I haven't weighed since starting it...I choose to not have a scale at home because I'd become really OCD about weighing. I had a fill scheduled for today but I really don't need it..should be going back on the 18th for one though. I can tell the difference! I have more energy and I'm working out a great deal more than I was. People keep telling me I'm melting! ha ha ha -

Thats what I was thinking..that the liquid goes right through so why wait? Maybe thats why I'm having a hard time getting all the water in that I need. I'll start narrowing the time down. I usually wait 1 hour before drinking again after a meal. By then I'm usually thirsty and need a drink. -

THANKS Bubble! I'm going to start this Plateau Busting Diet tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. I think my biggest problem is not getting enough liquids in. I'm going to try my hardest!!!! Do you guys still do the "Not drink before 45 mins of eating and 1 hour after eating?" -

Hey Kellie! I am a December 13th Bandster too! As of 4/11 I was at 60lbs lost. I had a fill then and it was like WOW! It was the "sweet spot" so I haven't been back since then. I go back 7/31 for another fill because I feel like I'm eating WAY too much. I'm really curious to see where my weight loss is now. I'm estimating about 80lbs or so. I really need to get motivated into exercising. It's so hard with two kids under 10 and a hubby that works nights. Blah! I know excuses are not warranted..but wow..I need to schedule it in. Maybe I won't feel so tired?!? Any ideas on some short but effective exercises you can do at home? -

Thanks for the info WAS..Bubble.. That does help me not to feel like I'm really doing something wrong here. At least the scale is moving..and I feel so much better about myself. -

Hiya! I'm a December Bandster. Surgery was 12/13 and I'm down roughly about 80lbs. My last fill was 4/11 and I'm schedule to go in for another on the 31st of July. I hit the "sweet spot" but then it went away! And another of my frustrations..I have lost 80lbs and I went from a size 28 to now a size 24..whats up with that? -
Marybelle!!! Is that YOU? Congrats on getting this done, that is great news. Keep me posted on how it goes Jayme

:faint: Well, had my 2nd fill on Feb 1st (Drew's B-day) Haven't been having problems but I still feel like I can eat way too much. Going to call towards the middle/end of the week to see if I can go in for more fill. Down to 301! Almost under 300 and I feel fantastic...finally! Looks like I MAY be off my diabetic meds as well, we shall see!

Good Morning me! Today is my first fill! I'm so nervous yet excited to get started on what is the rest of my life. I have lost 20 lbs total and am feeling great. Didn't have too many problems with the actual surgery. Was up walking 30 mins the day of the surgery so I'd say that is good Exercise is going ok..have been trying to walk, for the most part, every day. Started Tae-bo and Yoga this past weekend. Well, that is all for now. Off to the doc and we will see how this first fill goes. :clap2:
