So I survived the clear liquid diet and surgery was the 31st. I just cant wait to get on with life, excerse, and losing weight.

So I survived the clear liquid diet and lost a total of 16 on day of surgery. I am on the modified full liquid diet stage of my post op diet which lasts three weeks. I am on day two of being back to work and feel so much better...... thanks for all of your support and suggestions. Anyone with questions please fire away.

Sorry I didn't get back to u sooner. The kids were sick. I have had terrible reflux and heartburn with the liquid diet. I have cheated some with protein (grilled chicken and cheese) and some fresh fruit, because yes I have had some constipation problems, after the cheat everything cleared outl
thankfully, Only 2 more days of trying to do the liquids to go and then off to the OR...

Hi there I am very new to this, but have started my 10 day clear liquid diet. I was wondering if you were just on clear liquid as well and if so how did you get your protien in and did it bother you bowels at all? thanks

I go for surgery on Thursday March 31st. I am a nurse and have had surgery before so the surgery part is not a major problem. I was just told on Friday that I had to lose "enough" weight or my surgery would be canceled. I understand that some doctors require a weight loss before with the liquid diet, but they were informed of this in the begining I was not. I follow the clear liquid diet to the letter with everything being sugar-free, and clear. I have only lost four pounds. I do still have five days left including today, am now very nerivous and scared. I have worked to hard for this to fall thru.......thoughts? -
My name is Bella and I am to have my band placed March 31st. I have Anth BCBS and was approved after just two weeks and two days....how shocked was I? I expected to wait at least 4 weeks and then to be turned down. My BMI is 44 but I have no co morbidities. I have tried numerous programs, diets, jonied a few different gyms and even tho I have lost wieght eventually I gain it back. I believe the band is the tool I need to help me to lose the weight and keep it off. I am a foodie....I have the mind set that I dont have to give that up, I just have to control it. There are foods I may never be able to eat again, but I am not looking at it that way. I see it as gaining the ablity to get around better, have my hair grow back, greatly decrease my risk of health problems, and in the future be able to run and maybe even a baby one day. I am ready for this and cant wait to show the world what I can do with the right tool.....
