Its several other ways to get protein and a few examples are smoothies add your protein powder and also beans. Basically plant base items also will help you with any digestive issues.. -

Yeah I’ve tried cucumbers also in my crab salad and zucchini and mushrooms I just get them soft by sautéed and then yesterday we was advanced so I can have more things like boiled egg and different meats. It varies by the weight loss facilities I think.. but my thought is veggies can’t be bad for ya 😂 -
Heyyyy I’m going through same thing and I had surgery about four weeks ago I’ve lost 20lbs also and I’m at a stall. I was told this happens around this time so keep doing what we doing and it will eventually end. I been getting on treadmill for about 20 mins and following my diet plan per doctor. Hang in there😊Good Luck✨

I have not tried ground beef I’m scared I just been eating fish or dark meat chicken but rarely I love veggies so zucchini has been my friend and today I made crab salad which worked out great got idea from imitation crab we can have on the list of things now that I’m going into 4 weeks. I won’t try ground turkey until maybe a few months seems pretty hard to me..😊 -

I have the same issue with smoothies also but I’m gonna try without the fair life milk in morning and with almond milk I was trying to get more protein in.. I had watermelon 🍉 today I thought it was gonna be a tragedy but it stayed down and went well and it was sweet at this time of the year.. we are having snow tomorrow here in NC. I have also fell in a stall no change in scale in a few days so I’m praying that things change soon.. I was on a roll with 20lbs down since surgery on 27th of Jan🤷🏽♀️ -

Day two of being on full soft foods and the avocado 🥑 and tuna fish in water went down well I ate about 2oz of both and had no issues. I drank my water after but I am excited to have some kind of regular food🤣😂 I am gonna venture out and try some refried beans with shredded cheese for dinner I’ll let you guys know about that bc I’m no big fan of beans so we shall see🤷🏽♀️🤣Thanks for all recipes and suggestions guys it’s helping me get thru💃🏽💕 -

I’ve not liked the protein shakes as well and I even went as far to purchase the KOS plant 🌱 based protein in Vanilla to try with the fair life milk since they don’t have Whey protein and the taste is ok but still not a fan either. I am reading y’all comments and it looks like after about 6-8 weeks regular protein w meats and veggies will be reintroduced and it will get better with the protein situation. I’ve been good w taking my vitamins ordered and iron. Let’s see what happens today w my appt hopefully I’ll be able to try egg whites also.. I’ve lost 18lbs so far I’m excited🤩🥳 -

I had RNY bypass revision after lapband done in 2013 so going into 2 weeks ago (Jan 27th) and I am able to drink Water, only core power protein shakes bc I’m allergic to Whey protein I discovered without sipping also and I am on Presoft foods already per my doctor stating in paperwork if I felt ok to move to Presoft go forward so that consist of Soups, unsweetened applesauce and Oikos Triple Zero yogurt and I have been fine I have appt today for my two week follow up but I had a very bad allergic reaction and I am on three meds to help me not get a ulcer and prednisone(which has not made me hungry😊) to help with the itchy, red breakout. It’s been only two days since I been on the prednisone but I can tell it’s working already still a little itchy but the rash is fading. I think it’s just us healing but the food part is weird bc I thought it would feel major restrictive like the band was but it’s not been that way so far hopefully my pouch is fine. Praying that the doctor states I can start back exercising today I have a treadmill at home and weights but I’ve already lost in two weeks a good amount so you guys are giving me hope! Go Jan Surgery tribe✨💕Thanks for sharing😊 -
could you eat and drink normal after bypass revision

Gastric RNY 1/27...This is exactly what I am going thru right now itching all over my body. I have broken out on my arms, legs, face, back and it’s nonstop itchy! I took benedryl and been through two tubes of cortisone 10. I just emailed my doctor told her we have to figure something out bc now I can’t sleep..I’ve been reading up on this and it’s stating it’s common due to allergic reaction to the surgical glue. I went and got some 100% aloe to help give little relief any suggestions? Do you think I should ask for prednisone bc I’ve seen others say that’s what’s helped with this same issue?? Anyone else out there with any suggestions??
