After long 6 months of nutrition and evaluation with my doctor my insurance finally approved my surgery! I was banded on April 29, 2011 at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. My experience was AWESOME from the front desk staff to the nurses, anesthesiologists I can't express how greatful I'am having them there on my special day. Of course my husband and kids were there . Everyone was very supportive & encouraging. I went home the same day and boy oh boy it was a challenge!!! I was starving but we all know no food allowed. So I tried to enjoy my broth and Juices , ice chips as much as I can. I felt so bloated and I had a mild tummy ache, but after passing gas made feel a lot better! My beginning weight was 235 and as of right now Iam 223, my first fill will be on May 31. I exercise regularly and still on the mushy diet. I cannot wait to meet my weight goal this has been a journey that Iam really thankful for.

I felt the same way when I woke up, The Dr told me that I asked him to get my cellphone so I can update my Facebook Status LOL

My insurance finally approved my surgery today, after 6 long months of nutrition & evaluation, I completed all the requirements and my big day is April 29!!!! Im glad I found this forum!!!
