I'm note sure if I posted my weights correctly. On may 3rd 2011 I was 182lbs when I was banded. Today May 8th I am 175lbs!!! So now I have lost 7lbs since surgery!! Hopefully by thursday I can start solid food (which my surgeon recommends) 8-9 wants you to be fluids only..then try solid foods. My Doctor enrcourgaes to EAT Alot Protein thats what will keep you feeling full.. I also got the Okay once I start my solids are can start my Chinese B Pollen (Vitamin also helps with weight loss) So I am positive outcome so far!!! We can do this ladies!!!!

Hi Everyone, I was banded Mary 3rd and I'm 3 days post up. I feel like I'm fully recovered I'm walking around no pain or anything. Since Last sunday up until now i have a lost 5lbs already, I have to stay on liquid diet until next thursday..Then Switch mushies.. But so far. I can't complain at all.. I'm doing well

Hi everyone I got banded this morning..the incisions look great...but my left shoulder is throbbing..I walked 10 laps on the hospital floor..my shoulder hurts w0rse than anything..I am drinking crystal light

Liza, Good Luck to you. I'm so excited I can't sleep. I can't get the tickers to work for me. I for the longest time was over 200lbs couldn't lost weight. The past 3 months I lost 25lbs due to being under stress. I was 190lbs on March 31st... April 12th I was 182lbs..Now I am 178lbs. My goal weight is 130lbs.

I'm getting banded tommrow (May 3rd) I can't wait. I had to do that past 2 days I liquid diet.. Yesterday I didn't mind having liquids..Today was tough because my stomach was so hungry then I had to take Laxatives yesterday so I occourse lastnight was up all night going to the bathroom!!!..LOL. But I'm only 14 hrs away from getting banded. I should be able to post something from my cellphone on how things went.

Hi Everyone. I'm getting banded May 3rd. Actually my surgeon recommends start solids as soon as you can tolerate it. after the banding is done. My surgeon is awesome and I've seen some wonderful results from alot of patients.

Hi Everyone I am scheduled for the LAP BAND on May 3rd!! I'm super excited. I did all the deiting and nutrition stuff actually before I saw my surgeon. He was very impressed with everything that I had done on my own. I have Diabetes and High BP my weight was 195lbs..Do to some recently stress lately in my life I lost 10lbs. So my BM is 36.,I have Pennsylvania Capital Blue Cross once everything was submitted 23 pages worth of information..I was approved within 24hrs.. My Goal Weight is 130lbs GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE MAY BANDSTERS! Lets get the party started (I'm one of those people that gets everyone motivated)

Thank you. I will call capital blue cross tommrow and verify it with them. Thank you.. Thats what the doctors office told me they would pay 70% then I would have the patient balance of 30% or coinsurance.. Thats what I was trying to find out if they would cover the 30%...Yes they do cover hospital and doctor 100% in network

Hello Everyone, I am going for my lap band consult on thursday. I have 2 insurance. Empire Blue Cross PPO (Primary) and Pennsylvania Capital Blue Cross PPO (Secondary). .The surgeon that I really want to use is a participating provider for Empire Blue,however where he would do the lap band procedure where he could do it (The hospital that is) is considered out network and they said I would have co insurance and I have to pay 30% out of pocket However with Capital Blue Cross which is secondary covers everything doctor is provider and is considered IN NETWORK for everything I'm trying to find out if capital blue cross would covere the difference and the copays Or is there a way I could just strictly use capital blue cross. Really not sure what to do???
