My story begins in 2008 when i first looked into the gastric band i went through the whole process but was unfortunately denied. At this point i went away and tried to do it by myself. by the time it was november 2010 i had not lost any weight in fact i had gained 5kg. So i went back to to Dr Fris and this time i was approved for surgery and after getting insurance i had my surgery on the 23rd of March 2011. Now a year on I am down 20kg and still working on getting to my goal weight of 58kg
