my surgeon does my fills under flouroscope and it's going well

hi everyone ... i finally got my first fill .. first when i entered the doctor office he told me to go with him to the radiology department . then i entered a room called fluoroscope , their was a big plastic bed which i slept on and above me is small mobile machine that take the picture of my port, then the doctor give me some wight material to swallow and he see me from the next room in a small TV to be sure that the band in the right place & their are no slipping. then he came with the needle :help: and i was surprised it was a small one:biggrin1: , he told me that they replace the old big needle with new one , and i felt nothing no pain or burning or any thing and i was happy. the fill was 2 cc and now i feel more restriction than before. but the bad news for me that he told me " be on liquids for 2 more weeks :think " . thats my first fill story .. see you all in a happy mode :clap2:

hi everyone ... i am so happy that's my 4 weeks of liquid are going to end tomorrow .. Finlay i can chaw something :hungry: . i am also worried about my first fill which is supposed to be next Mindy .. but because my final exams my doctor said to me i can have it tomorrow . so my first fill will be 26 days after the banding .. even before i started mushed food . also i am happy because one of my friend who is banded 5 years ago and he did not follow the order of the doctor and he did not lose weight .. even he gained more wight .. h will come with me for the fill :clap2: .. so i am happy for him & for me . i will tell you the detail of the fill tomorrow . wish me luck :clap2: :clap2:

hi all lucky girl-- the dryness is normal in the first month because of the Fluid, fat you consumed is reduced , now you drink slowly eat slowly . i have the same dryness and get better . also i have the same pain in the first 2 weeks but i don't know why ( offcourse i'm not ovulating:p ) and it get worse at night .. now it's gone and i hope also it's get better for you .

wheetsin-- since i read the thread i call the doctor and ask him about numbing:eek: and he say their is no numbing just the needle and say to me don not be afraid, for a moment i feal embraced:nervous . relay the way you describe the fill is great thank you for your concern . by the way how many opening you have in the surgery and where is the largest one ?

baby got back -- congrats for the band, i hope you enjoy the journey to the healthy world . A lot of liquid is god bat i tried V8 wish is great for me and soup with some skimmed milk. Gerbera-- sometimes i feel the same way specially the food was the only way to feel happy, but now i try to replace it with exercise , watching some movie and talk to a friends about how u r feeling and all that will go away.

And i know my self well and i feel that wighting another week in liquid is alright , i was tired but the support i found hear and the ability to talk to someone understand your problem is good . stephC-- thanks for the advise .

hi everyone i have Little question .. my doctor give me my food plan & it said 4 weeks of liquid , then 2 Weeks of mushed food , then regular food. i read many of the thread in the food section they said just 2 weeks of liquid . I'm really want to leave the liquid stage but i want to be sure first . another thing , any body solve the cold problem :help: , i feel so cold i hardly wake up in the morning at 6 am:tired . what can i do ?

hi evreyone . my name is ibrahem & live in ksa in other side of the world:) i did my operation in 23-12-2006 and now after 2&half weeks i lost 13 lb i was 398 lb and now 385 lb a am realy happy to find any one to share my experiance & finally i found this site .:clap2: & i hope you accepted me as a friend . sory for my english:o but i am learning with time i am now on the liquid stage :speechles wish me luck

hi everyone . i did my surgery in 23-12-2006 my weight at the day of banding was 398 lb BMI is 60:rolleyes: now i lost 13 lb my goal is 175 lb i am now in the liquid stage .. it is a little hard not to eat any thing specially at the holidays :hungry: . so wish me luck to keep going steadily by
