Finally landed in Onederland!!! When I had my surgery in April 193 pounds seemed so far away--but I made it and it feels great!!! Can't wait to keep seeing the numbers drop
-
It gets easier!! I remember the first night I got home, crying...thinking what have I done to myself! But here I am 3 months later, 43 pounds lighter--the lap band was the best decision I ever made! Stay strong--and know it will get better.

My pre op diet was the Atkins--all the eggs and cheese I could eat! I'm sure you didn't cause any damage--just get back on track and you'll be great! The guilt is probably the worst thing. Good luck with your surgery, it is going to be fabulous! -

Congrats on your upcoming band! I was banded 4/20/11--so far so good! Down 43 pounds and feeling great!

just went in today for my 4th fill--I am now ay 6.7 in my band. How is everyone feeling after their 4th fill?
-
I am at 6.7 in a 10 cc band as of today. I was at 6.2 with no restriction--hoping this .5 cc's puts me in the green zone!

Anyone else having problems stomaching Jello?? I'm two days post op--didn't go as smoothly as I thought, horrible pains because they overinflated during the procedure, but two days later I'm feeling much better, except when I try jello. Guess I'm sticking to popsicles and broth for a little while longer. How are my fellow April bandsters feeling??
-
I'm still on popsicles and broth...the Jello hurt to bad for me to try again, just wasn't worth it! I am looking forward to cream of chicken Soup this Wednesday though! I was told I could use milk of magnesia for constipation...and that it will work well, and very quickly! Every dr. is different though--I would check with yours before you try it! Gas pains are the worst part for me too--I was told to expect some discomfort...but it wasn't just uncomfortable--I felt like I was being stabbed. Every day gets better though! Looking forward to the next few months
