My time off has been very flexible but my role in nursing is as a project manager so I sit in meetings and work at a desk rather than run up and down halls in patient care areas. I plan to return to work on Monday which will be 11 days post op and even at that I am not sure I will make it a full 8 hours. I'm 51, obese, diabetic and hypertensive so I have lots of issues

So glad you are on the road to recovery. I too am a RN and was wondering how long you will be off work.One secretary at work had it done and and was off 3 weeks. Our job is a little more physical so I was wondering how much time off you got.

I Am a candidate!!! now it is a waiting game. The md told me it was about a years wait. I have not won the lottery ,so will have to wait. If by chance I come into money, then I will be self pay! Keep up the good work.
