I just got banded on the 15th and my Dr. had me schedule an apt in a month for my first fill. I am reading lots of your posts and it seems like many people have to wait a while for their first fill/adjustment. Why does my Dr. want to do one so soon? My start weight was 264 and I am down to 247. I start mushy foods on Tuesday... thoughts???? Thanks for your help, this is very overwhelming!!!

I was banded on Feb. 15th and go for my first adjustment on March 8th. From what I read, when they first put the band in, they do not adjust it.. Is that correct? What will my first adjustment feel like? Am excited to start mushy foods on Tuesday...
