Astrotoes started following Dr. Yau or Dr. Cobourn/Mumford?, Help! I have brutal acid reflux, Emergency trip to Toronto and and 7 others
-
Wow Argon, thanks that's likely the kick in the pants I needed to get a defill...I really don't want the headache of complications (ok so that goes without saying), Do you know what may have caused this to happen in the first place? Seemed I was rolling along fine then this started. Thanks for the advise.

Ok I think, I know exactly what your going through...I am waking up almost nightly with choking spells where I also feel taste reflux...it's awful. My question is why do we need a total defill, why not just a part of one? How long should we be defilled for ? Can we refill all at once or do we have to start all over and travel 4 to 5 times to get small amounts again to get restriction? Thanks for your help and advise.

Hi Angel Bear, did you have the defils because you were sick? Or were you simply too full? Thanks -

Good luck Mr.Yoda! -
YES,so very nervous about the procedure about life changes, about the money , about people finding out, and about it not working.....I hope with more fills I will be able to see some good results, for now I will say sometimes we just have to close our eyes, trust, and make the leap. Good Luck Dawn and Donna

Your friend would want you to use his example and be inspired and even more determined to look after yourself, take care.

Thanks for that Becca, hopefully the next fill number 3 will be the charm, I feel like I need to get going at this before I get back in all the bad old habits I had. Mandi, thanks for the explaination.
-
Mandi just noted something you said, you did'nt believe it would work for the longest time and were bracing for dissipointment, does that mean you were slow to start? I'm grasping for something right now b/c after two fills I'm struggling to maintain (acturally I've gained). Good luck with kick starting things again but the thought of having to go on that type of diet again makes me sad,I was hoping with the band those days od yukky diets were all in my past.:rolleyes
-
hmmm, this is a good question, does anyone know the reason for the delayed restiction?
-
Gaffer to answer the question, no I wish I felt something, any indication the band was acturally in there would be nice (I have the scars to prove something happened). I now have 5cc in the 10 cc band and the person who does my fills said often people don't feel much until 7 or 8 cc's,so I'm trying to be patient and remember the post Yoda had in a few days ago about not rushing things, the trouble is I was so "up" for the first while after surgery and now unfortunitly I'm falling back into some of my bad habits from before....I need to get some of my earlier excitment back and to get disiplined again.
-
Gaffer I'm not sure of the answer to that but I had my second fill on Thursday and I have no restriction yet:mad: .....so it truely is different for everyone.

Hi Maggie just wanted to let you know the sensation and pain you describe is exactly what I experienced,it is likely from the hernia repair at least that was what I was told from the office. Rest and take care of yourself, for me it passed in about about a week.
