27yr old female from Pa, I was just banded on Feb 14, 2011....I work with children and hope to go back to school soon. My starting weight was 306lbs pre op and I am now 289lbs post op. It would just be nice to have someone to speak to who has been through the lapband experience, someone who can help guide me in the right direction

I also had my surgery on Feb 14th and still have pretty bad gas pains. Its scarey when your unsure what is going on with your body, if its a gas pain or something more serious.
