My doc's pre-op diet starts with 2 protein shakes per day <200 cal, >15g protein; and one meal <300 cal, <15g carbs, >15g protein Days 1-7. Days 8-13 are 4 protein shakes per day <200 cal, >15g protein. Day 14 Clear liquids only. Also allowed Sugar Free Jello, Sugar Free popsicles, and broth.
