I am seeing Dr. Lord in Pensacola as well for the Lap Band Procedure. It does appear that he prefers the Gastric Bypass, however he was wonderful about listening to me and my concerns,and at the conclusion of the consult said, 'Well for you, I think the lap band makes an excellent choice." Not that Dr. Nye does not have a great reputation, but Dr. Lord is awesome and comes very recommended by several physicians in the area and tons of happy post op patients (I feel like I have talked to all of them!) In addition, Dr. Lord's team is wonderful; they are all a class act! Good Luck and keep us posted!
