Good luck to you on your surgery date. I will be thinking about you. Keep us posted. You will do fine. I was banded 1/17. It was easy. The hard part was the pre op liquid diet and then post op shoulder pain from the gas the doc puts in your stomach to view your organs better. He cant get it all out. But take your pain meds as given, and walk walk walk. After a few days you will feel fine.

Thanks for your reply. I've been doing good and haven't cheated since day two. I can't have the yogurts or Soups. liquids only. Tea, Crystal Light, coffee, broth, sugar free jello and sugar free popcicles is about all I can have. -
I'm on day two of my liquid pre op diet and I've already cheated. I had one hard boiled egg and a can of dry tuna fish. I was so hungry for something other than liquids!! Think this will hurt me?
