    For Just Us Guys

Ok so rsbg1 how did it go? I got banded Dec. 26, 2006. I have absolutely NO regrets. I feel the best I've ever felt. When I look in the mirror I still see a fat guy but hey thats my baggage. A tummy tuck, I'm sure I will need one and will probably get one. And yes I am gay. HAHAHA good luck

    thanks for the advice.
  6. Hi all. I just had a question about eating at restaurants. I've been banded for three weeks now and am on mushy foods. As you all know the next step is regular foods. My problem, well not a problem so much as...well I'll just let you guys judge. My family-in-law celebrates everything with a trip to a restaurant. Coming up is my mom-in-laws birthday. I dont mind going but Im confused as to how to order at a restaurant. I've heard the whole "order an appetizer" thing, but even the smallest appetizer is going to be more than 2oz. I guess my question is, how do I eat just 2oz? Will my body stop me? I dont want to be bad but Im not sure I can stop myself from overeating. This will be a first for me.

    Band new

Oh yes Annie I am definitely getting enough water. I drink at least 8 bottles of Dasani 12oz individual bottles a day. They are scheduled into my daily routine along with at least one trip around my block with a 3lb weight in each hand. Before the loss my back barely allowed me to make it to the mailbox, hahaha. Thanks for your concern though, its greatly appreciated.

    Band new

Hello all, This is Tony and I am a newly banded guy. My procedure took place on December 26. Thats right the day after Christmas. I thought of it as a present to myself. The only hard part was fasting during the holiday and not getting to eat all the yummy sweets that my aunt makes every year. The surgery, however, was a breeze for me. Dr. Gellar is an artist with his hands. I woke up and had no pain or anything. If you're in the Louisville area I would definitely reccomend his services. At this point I am down 50 pounds and going strong. I don't regret anything about having the surgery so far.
