    Walking/jogging

    I was just like you! The first time I ran earlier this year I barely made it 2 houses down my street. I have now run 2 5k's. I always walk in the mornings during the week but last Saturday before work I ran 2 miles at 6 am and was actually looking fwd to it. Yep, I now call myself a runner! And that to me blows my mind as well!

    Same thing happened to me last week and I really think it was the airplane ride. But then someone told me maybe it's the heat. I'm not sure, thinking it's a combo of the two.

    Hungry!

    Well, I never expect to get full. That feeling is long gone. But what I have found helped was adding a 4th meal. Sometimes I will eat my lunch as early as 10:30 or 11 if I am really hungry. Then again around 2 and then dinner a few hours later.

    Good for you!! I miss snap peas and snow peas..they are just a few of the things that don't go down good for me, even after destringing them.

    Scale Phobia

    Why haven't you been back to see the dr? Don't be afraid of the scale. I weigh myself every day. It's one of the things that keeps me accountable. The only time I don't want to get on it is when I know I had a bad day the day before. Sure, muscle weighs more than fat, but 9 pounds of muscle seems like a lot of weight training to gain that. Sounds like you should get in to the dr and see what needs to be done to get you on the losing track again. Good luck.

    Question On Flying

    I flew last week and had no problem eating on the plane. But for the week I was away, def had a few things get stuck that normally would never have a problem with. I came home 4 days ago and finally feel better.

    January 27,2012. My 46th birthday. Spent the day on a 4 mile hike with my hubby. Down 82 pounds, don't think I could have done this a year ago without huffing and puffing!

    thanks! I ran a 5 k last weekend and he said he will do the next one with me! I couldn't believe it, he even went for a walk today by himself while my son was on teh ice for hockey practice. Baby steps!

    Down 8 sizes, feeling pretty LUCKY!

    Thanks! And shut the front door.........bought a pair of 2's last week! Washed them this morning and a little snug but fit none the less, woo hoo!!
