    Still hungry

Eggs and Whey protein are the 2 highest grades of protein and are both complete. Oatmeal is a carb. A food is usually categorized based on its highest macro nutrient. That is like saying peanut butter is a protein. Peanut butter is a fat that has a little protein in it. If you eat foods like oatmeal to try and get the protein out of it , you will never be able to eat enough of it to obtain a good serving of protein.. Most protein comparisons are done next to the profile of an egg because its rating is 100%. You can go on any nutrition website. If you look up high protein foods, or high bio-available protein sources.

    Frustrated!

This is my first post here........My name is Brian, I am a nutritionist that works with my local hospitals bariatric programs. I have worked with hundreds of patients over the last few years so I would say I have a pretty good amount of experience.. I am also a personal trainer and supplement specialist and have been helping to change peoples lives for the last decade, so questions are welcome. I have not had the band surgery myself but I do have an extreme dedication to helping others. Devin, is my other half that will also be on here and she is a weight loss success herself with all the same credentials as mine. I'm sure we will run into some locals on here that crossed are path, they can tell you more about us. Anyway, anyone who does see us will tell you our first question to patients when they say that the weight has stopped coming off is.....................Are You Still Drinking Your Whey Isolate Shakes? In 2 years working with so many amazing people I would have to say that stopping the shakes is the number #1 cause of "Weight Loss Pause" as I like to call it. This is not the only reason that could be causing the pause but like a doctor, I always check the most common cause first. We love what I do so don't be afraid to ask me questions. We are on here to learn as well. The more knowledge we have the better we can help our own patients.
