My pre-op diet is for two weeks and I am on that right now. Protein shakes a couple times a day and chicken breast with a cup of green veggies a couple times a day. I am hungry but managing! -

I pigged out for well over a month while getting all my testing and approval done!! Really not very smart! Now I am starving on the pre-op!!! But only 4 more days!!! I am being banded on next Wednesday!!

So I am 5 days into my pre-op diet and I am starting to realize that I can never stuff myself again. I mean this diet is difficult but after this then i am banded and will be eating small amounts. I sometimes feel like I am mourning my old fattening lifestyle. Anyone feel this way?

And the days are just dragging along. One week to go before my Band. I am ready to move over to the Post op questions and answers! Sorry folks there is no real topic here. I am just venting because I am hungry! I never was good at not eating!! No wonder I need WLS!

I Can have 1-2 meals of 4-6 oz chicken breast with 1 cup green veggies 1-2 meals of a Protein shake Yes eating lots of protein. Thanks for the replies!

I am to be banded in 2 weeks. I also just found out my breast implants have to be removed and replaced. Just wondering if anyone had breast implants soon after banding? And if so how long did you wait after being banded? I need to get my implants replaced pretty quickly due to probably leak.

Hi. Glad you joined lap band talk. I too use True Results in Houston and Rachel is my Patient co-ordinator. My surgery date is one week from today on April 20th. Stay in touch with me and I will let you know how my pain level is. Good luck I know you will do great and I will too. FYI-I am also a self pay so we have some things in common!

I can't be sure because I am due to be banded on April 20! Sounds like you are doing great. I just wanted to welcome you to the forum!
