I don't think it is old news. I only heard it last night.

It is my understanding that those ads are based on your previous browsing history. I wouldn't know as I have never seen an ad on this site. -

Wearing the mask is a lot more comfortable than laying in a casket. Think about it before you decide not to wear your cpap.

Since you are in the low carb section I will assume you care about carbs. Popcorn is a definite no. Anything with corn is full of carbs and sugar. Nothing good about any kind of corn except the flavor.

someone you dont really know

That is a handsome boy. My girl Ava would probably swoon over him when she hits puberty. -
Aren't you the gal with the blood sugar issues? Either way I hope everything goes great for you.

How about a pic of your doberman? -
I had one and it was mostly painless other than a sore throat afterwards. I was clamping my jaws down so hard on the piece in my mouth they had to wake me up to get it out because I wouldn't let go of it with my teeth!

My doc also says take a Flintstones with iron everyday. In addition I take a Centrum chewable in the evening because a Flintstone isn't very complete on it's own.

Depends on you and your family/friends. The lesson I learned is that you can't "untell it".

Stress can raise your blood glucose levels. FYI.

Are you always conscious of your band?
m1aman replied to Bandashoop's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I think about mine when I eat or feel the port. Other than that, no. -
Any problems my band has given me are nothing compared to what being fat was doing to me. Worth every penny and one of the best decisions I have ever made.
-
Sounds like some people didn't do enough research prior to getting the band. Shame on you.

I think lap band is the safest overall choice for most people. Sure some people have problems because we are all different. You can say that about any weight loss surgery. If all else has failed and you are down to your last hope then maybe WLS is for you. It was for me and I have lost some weight and reduced my meds. My glucose levels are much better too. It is not easy for me though and it isn't automatic either. It takes effort and determination on my part. But I have made many adjustments and have been somewhat successful. I expect to have more success in the future.

So tired all the time. Lacking protein?
m1aman replied to lane85's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
There are a LOT of reasons you could be feeling more tired that have nothing to do with the band. I suggest you see your regular doctor. -

Most People Wear Shirts with Sleeves
m1aman replied to PrettyThick1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It doesn't matter how other people have turned out because everybody is different. But I think the young people have an advantage here in the loose skin dept. If you are real old and real fat to begin with you might as well get used to the idea of having flap jacks all over your body. I've got moobies and a little paunch in front that are gonna give me fits as I lose more weight. strangely, my arms are rebounding okay. Oh yeah the inside of my thighs suck also........... But I have seen worse so I ain't gonna complain about it. I'm 53 by the way.
