Happy Memorial Day!
m1aman replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This vet thanks all vets and their families for their sacrifice. (place patriotic smilie here) -
Girl my sister has used this for many years and I am a member as one of her guest, meaning I can look at all of the work she does. I get the impression it takes a lot of work but I guess if you enjoy it it isn't really work. And yes it cost money but I don't know how much. Apparently she feels it is worth it. Sorry I don't have any real info for you.

Funny you mention cyber bullying. If you only knew the what this person has pulled behind the scenes on here and Amazon. And I am sure what I know about is just the tip of the iceberg.

I really don't know as I have no medical training other than first aid. But I think it is just part of the natural cycle of the stomach. I know in the mornings I can't eat much but in the evenings it is a lot better. I have read on here a number of times that the stomach swells on most people at night when they lay down. I have no idea if it is a Fluid retention thing or what. Sorry..... It is not something "I" would necessarily worry about but you should tell your doc regardless if you are having problems. By the way 18 pounds is pretty good!

I don't think the band can change size. What happens is your stomach swells/unswells.

Question about maintenance, complications, and alternatives
m1aman replied to JoeMalik's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks for clearing that up TMF. I figured she was full of BS, as usual. -
I am going to make an assumption....... please forgive me. It is not something I normally do. But if I was having blood vessels popping in my face I would definitely have my eyes checked for popped vessels too. Just thinking out loud here.

My breaking point! And yours?
m1aman replied to Newme32's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My doc told me he didn't see a long life ahead of me. He actually had to tell me more than once for it to sink in. -

She can do whatever she wants to. It has no effect on me. -

Yes maui please provide that link. -
Good luck with your surgery. You said "app" so I am guessing you are on your phone or tablet? If so, check it out on your PC. Much more powerful that way. Welcome aboard!

That is not much info. Are you diabetic? Do you check your levels with a meter or are you just going by how you feel? Are you on insulin or pills etc.?
-
Grats dude! It is so nice to see something positive on this site for a change. Thanks!
-
Wow. You sure seem to be giving up quickly but I guess you know what is best for you. Good luck.

Like you I toss my clothes as they get too big. I ain't going back either!

Any time I had a fill my band seemed real tight for 10-14 days before it settled down. And it was the same thing after surgery.......
-
PM Alex about it for starters.

Happy Mothers Day to all of you great gals out there! Thank you for being there for us.

I guess all of the mothers are sleeping in late and then getting breakfast in bed?
