    I have never been there and it doesn't sound like I missed anything the way people talk about that place. If this place turns sour it will be hard to come back. But Alex said he won't let that happen... PS: Looks like we posted at the same time Alex. Perfect timing!

    Made me laugh. My ride home was an adventure also. Then I had terrible back pain for a couple of days.

    I have no reason not to believe Alex has our best interest at heart. But I gotta say mixing lap band with other surgeries makes me nervous too. I just know non banders are gonna come over and mock us. Maybe not at first, but ultimately they will (I think). Maybe I am just being negative though and things will be fine.

    For two years I have thought my high weight was 379. Well, during a trip to the doctor last week I found out it was actually 389! How could I have been so stupid? I lost ten pounds in just a moment lol! I need to update my profile with this new weight loss.

    I was thinking about the logic of docs not wanting to deal with the aftercare of a lap band patient. I don't know the answer. But I do know my doc charges my insurance about $400 for a fill. That coupled with an office visit takes about 15 minutes. That may not be good money to a surgeon but it seems okay to me.

    The doc didn't do it wrong I did. 389 has been in my file the whole time. For some reason I remembered it as 379 and that is what I wrote down over 2.5 years ago. Now I feel so SKINNY!!

    It takes me about 2 weeks for my stomach to adjust to a fill. So for me, no. But many others do as you can see.

    I saw a commercial for the Maury show a while back. This 29 year old woman had nine kids by nine different men. I am anti gov too mostly. But they created the welfare state and they need to fix it in my opinion.

    I am just now running into this same situation and I hope I can find a new doc. I really respected my old doc but he is no longer doing the band and wants his patients to see a new partner. If I have to change docs anyway I would rather see someone closer than he.
