I'm only 6'1" but I have noticed sleeves getting longer as well. Guess I carried more weight on my shoulders and upper body than it looked like.

I'll make one comment that will be of no use to you Alex. Bariatric Pal has a very corporate feel to it. Lap Band Talk felt like friends (or sometimes enemies). Big difference. BP feels sterile. I want segregation so it feels like home again. Okay, no more vague remarks........

Yeppers it is actually the gut moving around. My incision scar is a good two inches away from my port now. Yes b52 we know the port doesn't/shouldn't actually move. It just seems like it is.

As you lose weight you port will seem to move around under your skin. I went through a phase where it hurt to lean against the sink to brush my teeth because the counter hit my port exactly. I lost more weight and it moved a little and doesn't bother me now. Less weight, less sagging.

Do you have any other conditions, diabetes etc., that would benefit from a low carb diet? Do you track your calories and fat? Those things have helped to motivate me in the past. And making myself walk even when I don't want to has helped as well. It helps that I have three dogs that need exercise too. Just don't lose sight of why you started all of this in the first place. I know it is hard to stay focused and I have trouble myself which is why my weight loss is about 30 pounds less then it should be. Just know there are a lot of people going through the same thing you are. Some successful and some not. Be the successful one!

Hey girls, I have a hypo active thyroid and diabetes as well. Between those two and the required meds weight loss is a struggle but I keep at it. I take 200 mcg of synthroid daily.

Why would someone who doesn't have a band or plan on getting a band come to the lap band forums and argue with people?

As the title says my spell checker in FF no longer works with the new website. It no longer highlights/underlines misspelled words. I have no idea if it is a FF issue or a BP issue. Would be nice to have it fixed though I don't expect it to be at the top of anyones list.

They are better for me but I wouldn't go around telling everyone they are great or anything like that. They are for people 50 and over though so you may not qualify!!

Are you talking about the orange flavored ones? I can't handle those myself. They give me the shivers. Centrum Silver chewables are berry flavored and I can do those.
