I believe I read somewhere that the port has a metal back of some kind to keep the syringe from puncturing it. Can't remember for sure now but it might be something to look into. Just throwing it out there for you. Don't quote me... -
Lost my TV in a house fire six years ago. I never replaced it and haven't looked back. I do dl'd movies off of the internet and watch them though.

My doc told me it doesn't matter how much weight you lose during this phase because the only weight they ever report to the insurance is the weight from the initial appointment. After that the insurance co doesn't know if you lose weight or not. Not saying yours is the same, just throwing that out there for you. -
Carbonation is not an absolute no. There are people on here whose doc says they can have carbonation.

Vomiting is flirting with disaster in my opinion. You may get away with it for a long time, or it may just take once to slip your band. I have vomited and believe me I was very worried and now do whatever it takes to avoid those situations -

I love center cut bacon but have sworn off of it. Too much fat and sodium for someone who is trying to be healthy. But I make plenty of other mistakes so maybe i should eat some after all.

You can't fix loose skin by wrapping something around your body. It makes no sense whatsoever. Nice little ad though.............

You need to ask your doctor about this...... or at least his nurse or dietician. Let us know what they say. Everybody's doc is different.

Ashamed I let myself get up to 388 pounds at one point. Ashamed I didn't want to do things in public or have my picture taken. Ashamed I wasted 15 years of my life before I decided to do something about it. And I am not only ashamed but I am angry at myself for missed opportunities. I let life pass me by year after year and those missed chances are gone forever. Does anyone else feel this way? Is it normal?

Somehow, it is comforting to know others have had the same feelings. Thanks for your comments. Now my eighty year old Father is in the hospital with a urinary tract infection. They said it is not in his bloodstream so he should be okay. But it is hard on my mother for sure.
