I'm very glad your surgery went well and I too hope we can start a support group in the Katy area since driving to the Galleria via 1-10 is a nightmare.

I was recently banded on 12/22/06. My doctor is Felix Spiegel of Houston, Tx. who is located in the Galleria area. My surgery was painless till I got home and all the pain killers worn off. I was very uncomfortable for about a week but now that I am into my second week I fill much better. I am back at work and functioning well. I have only loss 11 pounds so far but I'm starting to feel much better just knowing that I am on my way to losing all the weight I need to lose. Cheers:)
